Amigurumi Flower Fairy Light Garland
I’ve decided that over the next while I’m going to spotlight all of the patterns in my Ravelry store because I don’t actually know if you all know about my store and also so that the patterns are all listed on my blog as well.
To start with I’d like to introduce you to this decoration I designed for a Your Family magazine workshop I hosted at the beginning of 2014.
The brief was to introduce amigurumi techniques to the audience but the trick was to incorporate one of the products on sale at the venue.
So, I came up with this cure little fairy light decoration.
The flower is worked entirely in the round starting from the bottom, which is worked around the fairy light.
I wrote the pattern in UK terminology, since that is the South African standard but it is easily converted to US terminology since only single crochets are used.
Any type of led light string can be used. Or the lights can be omitted and the flowers can be attached to branches on their own.
